By Ordinance, Rental Property Registration in Ashley Borough occurs each year in January and must be completed by February 1st.

IF YOUR NORMAL TRASH DAY IS THURSDAY, YOUR RECYCLABLES WILL BE COLLECTED ON THE FOLLOWING DATES
NOV. 24TH & DEC. 22ND
IF YOUR NORMAL TRASH DAY IS FRIDAY, YOUR RECYCLABLES WILL BE COLLECTED ON THE FOLLOWING DAY

FULL TIME & PART TIME OFFICERS
The Ashley Borough Police Department is seeking applications for
Full Time and Part Time Officers.
Eligible Candidates must:
- Be a high school graduate or equivalent
- Be Act 120 certified
- Have a valid PA Driver's License, and record that demonstrates a history of
safe driving
- Be able to pass a comprehensive background investigation
- Be physically and mentally fit to perform the duties of a police officer
according to MPOETC standards

ASHLEY BOROUGH GARBAGE FEES
AND UPDATED SCHEDULES
It seems like the rising costs have led to some necessary adjustments in garbage fees and schedules in Ashley Borough for 2025. Here’s a concise summary of the changes:
Garbage Sticker Fees:
$160.00 for a 6-month supply
$320.00 for a full year supply
Extra stickers: $3.00 each
Bulk Cleanup Fees:
Up to 600 lbs: $100.00
601 lbs to 1000 lbs: $150.00
Additional fee for each mattress and box spring: $50.00
Bulk Cleanup Dates:
June for bulk items
September for scrap metal
Postage Fees (if you wish to have your stickers mailed):
$2.30 for a 6-month supply
$2.90 for a full year
The increased fees are meant to cover higher landfill tipping fees, fuel costs, and other expenses, allowing the borough to maintain services without raising property taxes. The updated schedules for street pickups will be included in your garbage sticker packets.
